
so i have all these pastels laying around; chalk pastels and soft pastels that look older than me. i figured it would be a good next step after charcoal and conte crayons. the tea pot was my first attempt this morning. still can't decide if i like it. it's not bad, but it was obvious i had no idea what i was doing, which is situation normal for me.

this was my second attempt. i think it turned out nice. using water color paper made a big difference.

this was my third attempt. i didn't expect it to turn out near as good as this.
this opens up a lot of new possibilities.
