i used the exact same palette as the last one of ares: thio violet, cadmium yellow, cobalt blue, and white.

that's much better. if i say so myself.

for what it's worth

i posted the work in progress, so i better post this one. the under painting turned out well and was easy. then, it seems, i completely forgot how to paint. this i the result. as for now, i don't like it. maybe tomorrow my opinion will change. who knows?
when i paint or draw something that turns out well, i feel good, like my life is actually going somewhere and has a purpose. when it doesn't turn out well, it's the exact opposite. i'll just have to try again tomorrow.
